His vision is to make simple and healthy food to everyone.

Inage´s history:
Masaru Inage has been a chef for more than 30 years and graduated as a French and Japanese chef. He was born and raised in Japan, but in 1980 he decided to move from Japan to seek new opportunities. Before he came to Norway he spent some time as a chef in France because he wanted to learn more about French cooking. Previously he had worked as head chef for the King and Queen of Norway. His work was highly appreciated by the royal family, but working for the royal family required long working days and traveling, leaving little time to spend with his own family. He decided to resign and went to work for Atle Brynestad, who had just opened a retail chain named Smart Club in 1995. Based on his experience, Inage was assigned to be in charge of product development within the foods division, and for almost 18 years he dedicated his time to Smart Club Alnabru before it was bought out and became Coop Norge.

With his extensive knowledge of food, Inage had wanted to do something on his own for a long time. His dream is to share and teach people about good and healthy food at a low cost.

His international background and experience has given him the opportunity to travel around the world staying updated and discovering new developments in cooking and food. One of his discoveries is that he saw how it seemed easy to acquire healthy food everywhere but Norway. This was a golden opportunity for Inage to create something similar at home in Norway, however, with a little twist.
